Brit strolled along the beach, enjoying her vacation. It was a blissful moment of silence, minus the sound of waves.
The silence was shattered by Brit's annoying sister's scream.
"Jessie! What did you do now?" Brit raced to where Jessie had her feet stuck in a green recycling bin, where cans are supposed to go.
Jessie had been out to lunch, and decided to recycle her flip-flops. Like usual, not really thinking, Jessie had stuck her feet in the bin and kicked off her only pair of flip-flops. All she had left were boots.
Brit sighed in resignation.
By the way, out to lunch means she was absentminded. Just in case you didn't understand the meaning.
